Gresham history
Gresham Financial is a well-established company specialising in Investments and Financial Planning based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Trusted, independent financial advice
We provide our clients with trusted, independent financial advice. The company is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
The company was founded by Nick Gresham-Thompson in July 2002. Prior to establishing Gresham Financial, Nick worked for the financial services arm of an international firm of Insurance Brokers; he was a director of the investment management and pension division of a top ten accountancy practice; and latterly worked for an international Private Bank.
Nick decided to take the leap into starting up his own Investment and Financial Planning company in order to offer clients something different, “I wanted to give people what they actually need, rather than just what the system wants them to have.” This remains Gresham Financial’s ethos. Having worked with partners and clients of Rothman Pantall LLP Chartered Accountants, Nick embarked on a close business relationship with the firm, resulting in the birth of Gresham Financial Ltd. Nick and Sue Sullivan, a Partner of Rothmans, are the Directors.
Mark Davis, a highly experienced Chartered Financial Planner, joined the company in 2016 and looks after a an expanding portfolio of private clients in and around Salisbury down to the South Coast. Mark and Nick are lucky to be assisted by a brilliant team of highly experienced and long-serving support team (see our Team).
